Established in 2006, The Training Room started its life as a careers provider within the fitness industry, offering training to candidates looking to start a new career as a Personal Trainer. In 2014 The Training Room’s innovative training and support model was successfully extended to the beauty industry, and 2015 will see further course options added to The Training Room’s evolving prospectus. To date, The Training Room have successfully trained in excess of 20,000 students!

A gloomy picture for more traditional routes to qualification, so perhaps considering an alternative learning provider could be the answer.

The Training Room recently announced the launch of their all-new professional cookery and hospitality course, aimed at getting new talent qualified and into the kitchen in a hands-on role, quicker than your average course provider. Following the now firmly established success of The Training Room’s beauty course (launched April 2014), and firmly embedded Personal Trainer course (launched 2006), this organisation is really establishing itself as a stand-out provider for high quality vocational education across a variety of service lines with a need for highly skilled candidates.

Traineeships on the Rise

On March 25th 2015 BBC reporter Patrick Howse reported that adult education in England "will not exist by 2020" if government cuts continue. The report went on to state that “The Association of Colleges says 190,000 adult education places will go next year, as funding is cut by 24%”*, and warned that should cuts continue, the country could end up with no adult education system for those aged 19 upwards.
