Some of the Training Room team, including our MD, Jonathan Davies, departed a few weeks ago to complete a Paris to Swansea bike ride in aid of Maggie's Charity. One of the team members, Paul Evans, tells us how they got on:
"Jonathan and I recently completed the Pedal Paris2Swansea ride for Maggie’s hospice Centres. We rode 360 miles over 4 days, averaging 90 miles a day. Each day was hard, setting off around 08:00am and arriving at the hotel around 19:00! There were around 70 riders, all mixed abilities but all equally determined to complete the ride and have a laugh at the same time! The hardest leg of the ride was the Saturday where we rode from Lyndhurst in the New Forest to Bristol, in the rain, with a head wind for the majority of the day. It was great to be back in blighty though. We arrived in Swansea to be greeted by what seemed like 10,000 people but was apparently around 800. All the riders had friends and family to greet them and was an experience I will never forget. In total, over £80,000 has been raised and is still rising!"
