I am now in my mid 30′s and coming towards the end of my playing career. The natural progression for me would be a move into coaching.

Well a lot has happened since I last wrote to you all. The past month has been a bit of a blur. The Olympics was the most amazing experience. London did a fantastic job and I hope that you all got to watch it. I wasn't sure what to expect, even though I have been to two Olympics before I was still a bit unsure with it being a home Games. The atmosphere around London and within the village was something that will never be replicated.

London 2012 Summary

The London 2012 Olympics finally came to an end on Sunday night at the spectacular musical closing ceremony. The Olympics has seen an exhilarating 16 days of competition that has united Great Britain, the world of sport, and has had us all on the edge of our seats. We can't help but agree with Lord Coe who said on Sunday "When our time came at Britain, we did it right."
