Did you know that healthy snacking can help manage your weight and increase energy levels?
Ironic right? But we all know that horrible feeling of becoming extremely hungry, and having a harder time resisting the urges of grabbing a quick Big Mac or having a slice of the afternoon cake, at work. So eat more frequently, but smaller portions to resist the temptations of the bad foods.
Blood sugar dips three to five hours after you eat. Eating small, frequent snacks keeps your metabolism revved up and helps normalise blood sugar. Whereas hunger can throw your body into famine mode, which slows metabolism and makes it easier to pack on the pounds.
Hit the 3pm slump at work or struggling to reach your one-rep max? We all know that in order to perform at your best, you need gas in the tank. Having several snacks a day helps banish tiredness and increase energy levels.
The great thing about snacks is that they’re quick to dish up, and they can easily fit in-between meals, so take it to work, or have it as snack before gym, the choice is yours.

Absolutely brilliant. The lady I spoke to, Clare, listened to everything I had to say and ask, and answered everything she could. All of the staff I have spoken to have been happy bubbly and seem genuinely happy to speak to and assist you anyway they can. Plus they never tried to force feed you their course which was refreshing.
My advisor, Steve, was intensely helpful throughout the process of signing up to the course. He would contact me regularly with new information, but was also extremely polite and never put any pressure on me.
Really friendly and informative
I booked over the phone with Steve who gave me all the time in the world to talk about my worries before starting the course. When I got there I found the trainer Nick was so friendly and helpful, no question to small to answer. The other tutors who came on assessment days were also wonderfully knowledgable and everyone made you feel like you could do it. Since then the after care teams have made sure I have the certificates I need, when I needed them for my insurances etc and I’m really pleased with my new career. I did the intense PT course in September and loved that it was full on.
When I applied I was connected the next day. I was taken through the course being told the sets that I will be taking with all the information that I need to know what the course involves and got the answers to questions that I wanted .
