Many roles in Adult Social Care benefit from a Level 2 Certificate, but if you’re looking to make a big impact in your new job or develop your professional standing (perhaps to achieve management or supervisory roles), a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care will equip you will the skills and knowledge you’ll need to succeed.

If you’re new to the industry, there are a range of vacancies and opportunities available – many roles don’t require specific experience but completing the Level 2 certificate will give you the foundational knowledge to launch your career confidently.

If you’ve built substantial experience in the Social Care industry, you might be looking to take the next step on your career journey into management or supervisory roles, or specialise in specific areas of the Social Care industry such as dementia care, mental health or the safe handling of medicines. What Do I Need To Know About the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care?

The Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care takes an average of 6-9 months to complete, but this depends on how much time you have to commit to your studies. It is a nationally recognised and an Ofqual-approved qualification.

The course is an online learning course, so you’ll need computer and internet access to complete your learning. It means you can complete the course when it suits you: fit learning around work and your lifestyle. You can access your learning materials 24/7 and have 12 months to complete your learning.

You’ll have access to your own experienced tutor to provide support throughout your course, provide constructive feedback and answer any queries you may have.

The Standard Course covers the TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF) which is the core qualification – the 2 additional certifications in Level 2 Dignity and Respect and Level 2 Positive Dementia Care are designed to upskill you in line with industry standards:
