Ever since The Training Room launched the beauty therapy course 18 months ago, we’ve been working hard building our reputation as a high quality provider of beauty courses. Fast-forward to today, and The Training Room have announced a very significant partnership with Habia - the Hair and Beauty Industry Authority.
Habia are licensed by the UK Government as the Sector Skills Council for the hair and beauty industry. Habia works with existing awarding bodies, practised groups, educationalists and active stakeholders to cooperatively meet the needs of the strict industry standards. This assures employees and the public that all registered beauty professionals hold suitable qualifications, knowledge and competence to perform their treatments and service to consumers at the adhered standard.
Habia most recently have launched the Professional Register for Beauty Professionals, helping to elevate the professional status of qualified Beauty Therapists. This is fantastic news for all students and graduates of The Training Room who qualify with our ITEC Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. Students are granted provisional access to the beauty register at no cost and will be provided with a certificate of approval and a membership card which they can show to employers or clients and advertise their services on the search function of the website. Graduates can gain access to the register and will be eligible for the full membership charged at a nominal fee of £28 a year.
With either option, this accreditation will help our Beauty Therapists to grow their clientele and hit the industry running as a qualified expert.
We’re very excited to be in partnership with Habia, helping to give our students the best start in their new career.

Very friendly and helpful staff who explained everything and answered all my questions which were slightly outside the usual criteria as I live and work in France. I'm looking forward to starting the training and hope that it will be as well organised as the process up until now.

Everyone who contacted me or I was in contact with was very friendly, helpful and informative. Very professional yet easy going.
Excellent service and help provided throughout, thanks a lot! Andy McGlashan (tutor) replied 99% of the time within a couple of hours to any questions and when providing feedback to me, top guy couldn't ask for more
The course was really helpful and it gave me the skills I need to become a Personal Trainer, I have now started work at Pure Gym in Warrington.
All of the admin staff were incredibly helpful and instrumental in my attendance and attainment of the course, and my tutor Tracey Lilburn at the Newcastle school was overwhelming supportive and absolutely the reason for my success.
I get very quickly answers to my questions.
