Brighton is the most visited seaside destination in the UK for overseas tourists due to its quirky appeal and exciting nightlife. The city has a rich history of music with indie band The Kooks and DJ Fatboy Slim associated with the area. Brighton even hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974!

Brighton and Hove Albion are the city’s professional football club, who in 2011 moved to the impressive Falmer Stadium, whilst Sussex County Cricket Club are based at the County Cricket Ground in Hove.

The city has a thriving student population with many swapping bigger cities for this picturesque and buzzing seaside resort. With so many things to do, it’s no wonder Brighton has been previously named the happiest place to live in the UK!
