Our part-time personal training course allows you to train as a personal trainer whilst retaining full-time employment. Plus, it can be funded via an affordable monthly instalment plan that requires no credit checks.
Weekend training and online learning
The course consists of 14 days of practical training and assessments (7 weekends) supported by home study, using state-of-the-art online learning tools. Whilst studying you will also be fully supported by our dedicated blended learning tutors who you can contact at any time.
Practical training workshops and assessment days take place every 4 weeks and you can choose to complete them at your preferred academy location. Courses are staggered across our locations so if you cannot make a particular date you have the total flexibility of completing it at a later date or attending the same workshop on a different date at one of our other academies.
Our part-time personal training courses are adaptable for students of all abilities, and can be completed at your own pace. Normally we would expect learners to qualify in 6 to 9 months depending on ability and the number of hours per week they can dedicate to their training.
Become a qualified personal trainer
Following training you will receive a REPS accredited Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (includes Level 2 Gym Instructor), a Certificate in Studio Cycling (Spinning), Sports Nutrition, Gym Based boxing and Circuit Training. Further to this we have a Specialist Certificate in Marketing and Business for Personal Trainers delivered by Fitness First (see the full time course content for more details of these qualifications).
